Phased Site PlanAt a little over seven acres, Holy Ground, the site name for the future Good News United Methodist Church campus has been master planned to support 750 worshippers at each service at when all phases are complete. The site plan developed by the Building for Mission Team and Trinity Architects calls for a campus composed of four building with distinct purposes within our congregational life and outreach to the Cedar Park/Leander community. The Discipleship Center and The Wesley Center compose the first phase of construction and will move our congregation out of rented space and into a permanent facility of our own. Comprised of education, administrative, worship and kitchen space, this first phase of construction allows us to support existing ministry and expand what we do to serve, connect and transform for the glory of God.
In phase two, The Worship Center adds a larger worship space that can support 500 individuals and with a short conversion later can increase that same worship space to 750 at completion. This space will add more parking, a larger kitchen and added education space for ever expanding programming.
At the launch of our third and final phase of construction, The Education Center will house added children's education space and allow classrooms in The Discipleship Center and The Worship Center to be repurposed for growth in our youth and adults ministries. |
