Why we Give
- To say “Thank You” to God for all God has given us
- To partner with God in doing His work
- To express love
- To experience God as our Provider by putting first things first
- To have the joy that comes from being generous
- To make it possible for others to be loved into a relationship with Jesus Christ
- To learn from Jesus who spoke about giving in 16 of his 38 parables
Remember that our need to give is more basic than the need of the church to receive. We want to delight in our giving, for God entrusts us with talents and resources to be used for good in the world, and we have the opportunity to partner with God in this life-changing Mission.
