Our Mission

To offer the children, youth, and families of Cedar Park/Leander the opportunity to encounter the kingdom of God through Jesus Christ in our worship, small groups, special events, and daily lives so as to transform the world one relationship at a time.  ~Matthew 28:19-20

Overriding Principles

1.   To make ministry (the different expressions of our Mission) our only business: to be rooted in our teaching and learning, relationships with one another, our embrace of the sacraments, and our prayers.  Acts 2:42

2.   To seek new ways to achieve our mission and have faith in God to provide what we need to get it done.  Matthew 6:33

3.   To glorify God in all that we do rather than glorify individuals, our church, or our denomination.  Matthew 5:16

4.   To express our love for God and for others through our service to others.  Mark 12:30-32, Matthew 14:16, Matthew 25:40, Luke 10:29-37

5.   To allow God to bless us with an increase in numbers and other resources through our obedience to our mission.  Acts 2:46-47

6.   To accept grace and offer grace unconditionally.   Matthew 18:15-22, John 13:34-35

7.   To allow the Holy Spirit to guide and lead us even if it is into the sometimes uncomfortable world (kingdom of God) where there is no doubt of the reality of Jesus.   Acts 1:8, Acts 4:31
