Story Book Project On Mother's Day, as a tribute to mothers, books are donated to the Women's Storybook Project of Texas in memory/honor of the great women in our lives. What a wonderful way to honor these special women! Women’s Storybook Project of Texas is a non-profit volunteer program that allows a child to connect with his/her incarcerated mother through literature. Trained volunteers meet monthly with offenders who have children under the age of twelve and record them reading books to their children on tape. The child receives the tape along with a new book each month for four months. For more information go to www.storybookproject.org.
Williamson County Children's Advocacy Center On Father's Day, stuffed animails are donated to WCCAC in honor or in memory of the men who made a difference in our lives. This is a way to share the love of a father with children of abuse.
Hill Country Community Ministries We collect shampoo and peas for Hill Country Community Ministries as often as possible to keep them stocked with these items. In addition, everything grown in the First Fruits Garden Ministry is donated to HCCM. Other opportunities to serve are available. Please contact HCCM to volunteer.
