About Good News United Methodist Church 

Good News United Methodist Church held its first worship service on February 10, 2002 at Block House Creek Elementary School in Leander, Texas. As directed by the Central Texas United Methodist Conference, Good News is targeting a population area of Northeastern Cedar Park and Leander centering on 1431 and Parmer Lane. 

We purchased 13 acres of land in 2005 at the corner of CR 180 (E. New Hope Rd.) and CR 185 (Cottonwood Creek Trail) which is slated to be one of highest use areas in Leander/Cedar Park with a hospital, Super Target, business park, and shopping center to be built nearby. We currently hold worship services in the Railyard Shopping Center in Cedar Park until our first phase building is complete.

Sunday school is offered to all ages at 9:45 and worship is at 8:30 and 10:45.  Our music is blended, our worship is sincere, and our God is alive.  Please join us for worship this Sunday.  The Good News of Jesus Christ is waiting for you.
